Tried ringing 3 times, Someone kept hanging up, Very Very poor customer service

Avoid Evans Halshaw Stockport at all costs!!!! The staff have a total non understanding of customer service. Took them two weeks to get the car I was interested in and only after several phone calls from me... they never return a call. They took a £200 deposit from me on 17th June. They invited us for a test drive at 11. We were there for 2.1/2 hours having only taken the car for a short drive, only one person allowed. We agreed to buy the car depending on value for our trade in, they offered well below the market value of our car, then asked what we would accept. We agreed a price only to find the value of the car we were buying had gone up over £2000. We were left waiting whilst they sorted it out, we asked the salesman how much longer it would take and he stated "as long as it takes"!!! We decided enough was enough and said we had to leave, they promised to ring when they had sorted the price problem and we are still waiting.......... We rang them 5 days later for the return of our money and despite being told several times that it had been processed, it has not come back. I have raised a complaint through my bank. If you are in the market for a new car DO NOT GO TO EVANS HALSHAW STOCKPORT!!!

Not a good service. More interested in taking your money than giving you a good service. Very laid back and uninterested. Not a good way to run a business.

I have a known issue with my car and took it here on the advice of my insurance company. Car was inspected by an engineer who agreed there was a problem but couldn’t do anything as the manager was on holiday. His parting words don’t worry we’ll get it sorted out for you. Eventually got to speak to the manager who denied everything and insisted it was in their policy not to fix the issue, when pressed he couldn’t say where it was in the policy or indeed what the actual policy was. His answer was just phone customer services. I asked for the number but he couldn’t produce that either, his advice was to google it! Absolutely shocking customer service, avoid this place and deal with people who actually know what they’re doing!

Booked an appointment to view a C4 Grand Picasso. Was told that had been sold and they had me wanting to look at a C3 and they had no other C4’s in. Was told to go online and find other options and come back. Showed me a C4 outside and Left me to look at it. Didnt even say goodbye.

If you are thinking of selling your car here then save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else. They will offer you 10% less than your quote for no reason and the overall customer service is frustrating to say the least

Avoid this place like the plague. Bought a brand new 2019 vehicle already getting engine issues. Dealership ran by total idiots includeing both manager and dealership director. SAVE YOU MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE otherwise you will regret ever going to them.

We have visited many car dealers, for many manufacturers, over the last 5 weeks. The Evan's Halshaw Citroen Stockport dealership has been head and shoulders the best. Our first contact was Henry, who was smart, polite, helpful and thorough in understanding our needs. He was knowledgeable about the range and quickly arranged a test drive. We also spoke to Alanna and Mustakim, who were friendly and efficient. Adam and Daniel looked after us once we had decided to buy. They really went the extra mile to ensure the purchase went through as quickly and smoothly as possible, and we enjoyed the VIP treatment today as we picked up our lovely new C5 Aircross. I would have no hesitation in recommending Evans Halshaw Citroen in Stockport.
