In my experience, Endeavour (Ardleigh, near Colchester) are all over you when you’re interested in buying a car from them. But they’re then astonishingly reluctant to reply - I’ve found - to emails, calls or a voicemail if you have a problem (as I have, several times over) with the car you’ve just bought from them. It’s not just treating their customer badly, in my view, but with sheer disinterest - post-sale, anyway. A nearly-new car that’s let me down twice already, this week. I’ve never had such a poor after-sales experience as I have with Endeavour, Ardleigh. A big shame as the car drives beautifully when it actually works properly. And Hyundai Assist always answer the phone promptly and do their very best to help. An example of customer service that others should endeavour to follow ...
I had a re call due on my Tuscon tensioners so booked it in with this garage. On the way to leave it with them the tensioner that it was having replaced broke. I was a mile from them and they would not assist me in getting it to them so I called the national number and they towed it in . Then they would not repair the vehicle under warranty because they couldn't reach the garage that had done the second service !! I was told by the service manager Amy that it would need a new engine (£8000) !! I asked how she knew that and she replied that it was the technicians hunch . I then contacted head office who advised me that the tensioner was due for re call so they should honour the work but they said it was a serviceable part and because they couldn't verify the second service in the book they could not do under warranty. So I called another Hyundai garage in Bolton who repaired the whole thing for me under warranty , unfortunately it cost me £600 In transport. Avoid this garage if you can .

Perry was very helpful advisor. Located a lovely used i10 for my daughter and provided a years warranty. Car not quite perfect but window chip and coin tray mat to follow. Many thanks for making the journey hassle free.

Obtained Hiundi i10 8 days ago sales man appointment 11 am he arrived to hand over new vertical 20 mins late was in meeting hurried hand over as he had to go on test drive with other customer . Our i10 faulty speed assist flashing beeping continuous warng sign to contact dealer they did not want to to know said they would repair it free in a month time they were usy and could not help said service problem not sales brand new obviously not checked through before hand over Rhey did not care and tone was not pleasant I am disabled this car is a life line they sold it faulty brand new never buy anything from then again be very aware and forewarned

Warranty ran out 27th September reported on 22nd September they would not take car in till Oct by which time it would be out of warranty which means a5year warranty only lasts 4 years and a few weeks

So from day one of dealing with this company its been inconsiderate and just not good in the communication department .. I'm disabled and I was advised on a hoist well that hoist takes my legs out amd has done its definatly not fit for purpose at all I was told i had to pay upfront cost and for the hoist but unbenlknown to me as its my first car I could of had help with this amd had a better hoist that was suitable for me. Then there at little things that are so important to me not anyone else but silly thing we all take for granted like the petrol leaver is on the car floor its not accessible for someone with mobility issues as well as the boot is high to reach to close so could have been adapted too for my needs bit nothingvwas explained to me at all they looked at me and probably thought I was crewing the system but I'm genuinely disabled through no fault off my own I may add I know these are little things but to me they matter .. then today I went to drop it for a service amd they gave me a car filthy dirty and a manual !! I drive auto for a reason ... I managed to get home 4.6 miles... when I picked curtesy car up it has 11 miles in 11 miles lol and was disgustingly dirty ... sweet wrappers in car and outside well it was embarrassing... so by time I got home 4.6 miles I had 0 miles left in tank !! My anxiety was through the roof working if I'd make it home because of thier carelessness ... I would never ever use this company again for a disabled car no way sorry but its been worst mistake for my first car .
