Been very poor in 2017
We have been customers to this dealership for nearly six years having bought a C’eed SW new and then a nearly new 4-Tech C’eed SW. All going well until this year, unfortunately we have had the 4-Tech recovered three times this year for a breaking issue. A random issue that locks the breaks on – can happen anytime, thankfully when parked!! On the last occasion before yesterday, a part was replaced and we noticed an improvement in breaking. Until last night – same issue, breaks locked and then released with added warning features on the display – which I captured on my phone. The long and the short of it today was a very poor response from the Service Department – stating with we only have one technician on, can’s book in until next week & don’t have a replacement car until October. Followed by ‘you drive it at your own risk’ and ‘you could have had the same problem with a JLR car’ … fine I will buy one next time! To cap it all this month (Sept) I was sent numerous invites to a VIP event – the Golden Tick was for March 2017, the offer letter had some classic spelling mistakes and they offered a ‘£1,5000’ off my deposit. You would chuckle if you had not spent four days off-work this year and three trips in the back of an RAC van for a 2013 top-of-the-range car. The Quality of Sales and Service at Allen KIA Solihull has plummeted in 2017 – avoid them!
