Shocking Customer Service
Last August we purchased a brand new Renault Austral from Arnold Clark Renault Grangemouth. Within weeks it started filling up with water everytime it rained. We then started the process of trying to get it repaired. So basically Arnold Clark and Renault UK started the who's to blame with us stuck in the middle. The car has been in twice for repair for over a month I was left with no car to get to work so had to pay to hire one, plus still paying for a car we no longer had. The Bodyshop stated it was unrepairable as they don't know how the water is getting in!!! Renault Grangemouth are all liars as is Renault UK with both of them blaming each other, after 9 month's of emails phone call arguing in the branch we had enough with no one prepared to help us. We decided to get shot if the car. In 9 months the car devalued by £13.000 so we were sitting in negative equity so to trade the car in we had to pay £6000 cash. So in 9 months we've paid £13.500 and got nothing to show for it!!! Please avoid Renault Grangemouth and Renault UK at all costs as when a problem happens they 100% do not want to know.. we've learnt that the hard way!!
