I was really impressed with the customer service I received from both David and Adam today, They were both friendly and very professional from the onset. . Also the purchase of the vehicle, and the part exchange of my vehicle was dealt with really quickly, and I came away very happy knowing I will definitely be buying from A100 in the future. Thank you.

I was incredibly apprehensive about purchasing an expensive vehicle (2020 Range Rover Sport HST) from anyone other an official dealer but I needn’t have been as the service from Auto100 was truly amazing. Head and shoulders above my experiences with official dealers, where the service is cursory and where at best you are processed. I wasn’t brave enough to buy outright on the strength of what I saw on their website but they were happy to take a fully refundable deposit and for me to visit at an agreed hour to see and inspect. This all went like clockwork and the vehicle was waiting for me. Absolutely pristine and exactly as portrayed and described. They had already given me what I thought was a decent price for my trade-in and following a brief inspection they were true to their promise. Within an hour and having completed the formalities……...finance, road tax and insurance, I was on my way in my sparkling new (pre-owned but new to me) vehicle. Don’t expect to be greeted by a grandiose showroom as they operate from a very in keeping office, with the cars stored and displayed in an adjacent warehouse, which included some of the finest exotica I have ever seen in one place. All prepared to very exacting standards. Mine to be was standing apart ready for inspection. The service I received was exemplary from a team who are truly passionate and committed to what they do. A huge thanks to Darren, Tom and Adam for making it happen and for looking after my wife and I so splendidly. I would definitely buy from Auto100 again and I am already recommending them to friends.

IF YOU DON'T READ ANY OTHER REVIEW - READ THIS ONE. It gets better and better. Do not purchase a vehicle here. I was purchasing a £45,000 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quatrifoglio, the £500 deposit was paid and all was going smooth (although very slowly and almost impossible to get a callback or chat once they'd taken my deposit and 'secured' me) I scheduled collection for Wednesday and an independent mechanic to review the vehicle prior to my arrival the previous Friday. They were initially hesitant to allow this, and now I know why. See the attached images. The dealer did not disclose any damage to the vehicle. They did not notice it had slashed tyres, cracked tread from where it'd been sitting for months, engine management errors on many of the components and - most obvious of all - a spidering, cracked windscreen. No trouble I thought - just ask the dealer to resolve the issues before collection and all will be well. No. No it won't be. Don't be as naive as me in thinking that this dealership operates in a similar fashion to any other. Firstly Richard, the "consultant" I was dealing with, did not want to replace any of the tires. They'd said that their mechanics (who, remember, work for them and not you) have given the vehicle a green light. The windscreen crack is minor and the tread is absolutely fine - let's ignore that big gash in the sidewall shall we? Let's just say I ignore the fact that this wasn't disclosed anywhere in the tens of phone-calls prior to paying the deposit where I'd ask "any damage?" - or let's just also ignore that this would fail an MOT... any person who drives with a shred of common sense would know that cracks, especially ones that have begun to spider in laminated glass, will grow over time as the car is driven. This is exaggerated if the vehicle is hard-sprung and the crack will further grow as it drives up and over bumpy surfaces; eventually it will grow to the full length or width of the windscreen and become illegal. They did not want to pay to correct this and instead wanted to only contribute - asking me to pay the majority of the cost to fix issues with a car that isn't even mine yet. They offered to replace all of the tires after twisting their arm countless times and essentially getting down to "either it gets fixed, or I walk away" because they did not comprehend in the slightest why I wouldn't want to drive a 510 HP rear-wheel drive vehicle with slashes in the sidewall and cracking tread. This alone would fail any MOT, let alone the immediate risk of a blowout at serious speeds! It’s absolute insanity that I had to go through an independent mechanic to have a cracked windscreen, slashed tyre wall and cracked tires disclosed to me. These are absolute basic checks for any car owner, let alone their “trained mechanics”. They were totally and fully expecting me to turn up on collection day, see the damage, and be A-OK with this. I can't fathom the logic here. BUT this gets better... I still have a £500 deposit on the vehicle. A legally binding contract that states to remove it from sale. So, what have Auto100 done? They've relisted the car without even telling me, and for £1000 more than I was originally paying. I found out only by a friend sending me a link to the advert. They'd done this under my nose, despite a legally binding contract which I have records of. It’s mind-numbing to me that they'd rather re-list a customer-reserved vehicle for another few months (it’s already been there quite some time) to squeeze out £1000 more, rather than sell a road-worthy and legal vehicle as they responsibly should in the first place, and it speaks volumes to their business practices. Even if a new customer does come along and show interest in the relisted vehicle, both parties are going to have to inevitably deal with the same headache that I did because, once again, the vehicle has been mis-advertised as having no damage and the customer is absolute bound to spot these things on pickup. Auto100 are counting on YOUR stupidity. Don't fall for it. If you absolutely must buy a car here, GO WITH AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. It's £300 with the RAC, or £120 with ClickMechanic, and will potentially save you a LOT of headaches. Auto100 - sell your customers safe vehicles (as your website boldly claims) instead of asking them to buy an unsafe one and spend hundreds repairing it to a road-legal standard. You advertise as an “independent prestigious car reseller” selling vehicles that should be ready to go. Your customers are not buying a spares and repairs vehicle on eBay, they're buying prestigious vehicles.

Terrible experience, read reviews don’t just look at the overall score out of 5 stars! All started off well, I enquired about a Mercedes glc on auto-trader and dealt with a nice guy on the phone who was very helpful. I was slightly sceptical about buying a £30k car from an independent garage and also travelling 150 miles to purchase but I was felt quite reassured by what I was hearing on the phone. Prior to seeing the car I asked a couple of quite standard questions along with the usuals regarding bodywork and was told anything that isn’t able to polish out will be handled by a smart repair team. I asked if tyres, brake pads, serviceable parts etc all checked and plenty of life left in them. The reply was again yes. Upon arrival I was greeted by a younger salesmen who took us to the car. The car was generally okay condition, I found 3/4 deep scratches/marks and also a small hole in the roof liner. My main concern was the two rear tyres were completely worn on the outer edge. I ran a quick check on the Dvla website using the MOT checker and the two rear tyres had been raised as advisory’s by a Mercedes garage shortly before. Once the guy returned i raised the issues which he kindly said he would seek his managers assistance. The manager came out, I’m not sure of his name as he didn’t bother to introduce himself to me or my wife. He seemed very stand offish and immediately started measuring the tyre tread. Once measured he said they were fine and that each MOT tester has their own standards and to him they were in range. (Bear in mind the outer edge was completely smooth on both rears and this is stated as an advisory on the mot certificate) also likely to need a wheel alignment carried out. Understandably i questioned this and he clearly wasn’t happy which ended getting immediately heated from his end. I’m not a mot tester myself but I’m not stupid you can clearly see if a tyre is unevenly worn, he even slipped up and admitted it during the discussion himself. The argument progressed and he was spilling out all kinds of rubbish…. Mercedes garages don’t carry out MOT’s (which once he checked his records he realised he was wrong)! ….All Mercedes are set up to wear the outside of the tyres….. you can’t respray metallic paint….MOT testers are there to make money which is why they advised them to be changed……. He then went on to explain I was the worst customer to him as I wanted to buy the car outright and didn’t have a part x…… He didn’t need my sale as he would sell the car tomorrow for more…..I wasn’t worth his time….. He didn’t even need my money as he makes too much to anyways… The managers attitude was disgusting he had zero customer service, He was rude, obnoxious, he tried to lie to me and my wife, he tried to talked down to us like we were worthless. After the way I was spoken to understandably I lost my temper and said some things I maybe shouldn’t. (This is NOT an apology) I got the general feeling that the younger guy understood my point of view as he seemed to sympathise to us. I’m guessing reading further into the reviews this happens a lot! It’s a shame his career is most likely going to go down the wrong route due to his manager. I’m guessing at the end of this ordeal the manager knew I was right as he then told the young guy to refund extra on the deposit due to us having to travel so far and waste our time. I think this was probably more so to try and stop me from writing a bad review! I’m still out of pocket for the cost of our train tickets by around £80. I didn’t even ask for money off the car, I asked if we could come to a compromise due to the tyres being faulty. I went with the full intention of buying the car under he description the salesman sold me, thank god I didn’t give this company a penny! I found it strange how he offered us money towards our travel but said he wouldn’t sort out the tyres, shows lack of intelligence to me. I’m expecting some sort of smart reply to this review. All I can say is read through the other bad reviews as many people have had the same experience.

This is a warning to anyone thinking of purchasing from this company. They are appallingly unprofessional with some of the worst customer service you will ever encounter. I cannot begin to count the number of half truth and utter nonsense to justify cancelling an agreement AT WELL PAST THE 11th HOUR by one of their directors . By try this for size... One of the highest regarded independent garages in the whole of Scotland is, a ‘backstreet garage’. Why? Because he doesn’t rate their website and the only have a BT email. Yes really Next. The deal is cancelled because the third party ( who no one at your company EVER informed me about) have changed their minds. Yup. You read that right. I’m getting screwed because they got screwed. Have you ever heard such nonsense. This deal was meant to be concluded TODAY, but only today did they ask for log book photos. Only today did they bring up any mention of them already selling the car onto a third party which was the basis of their deal offered to me. Only today was I informed the 3rd party pulled out. That’s not my problem. THATS YOUR PROBLEM Now. There’s much much more that I could add eg details on multiple non returned phone calls, ignored emails, slipped dates for delivery etc etc but I think you get me drift. Auto100 are in my opinion COWBOYS and I for one will never ever work with them again. On the basis of this review you might care to think twice too.

Car trade-in sorted/agreed by phone, handover arranged. Due Covid restrictions this all takes place outside, fortunately dry, albeit cold. Tech issue with new vehicle was resolved after an hour or so. Phone agreed set of plates had not been actioned and similarly the "tank of gas" resulted in a gallon loaded! Plates took only a few minutes with no issue. Ably assisted throughout by Lewis (not the salesman I had spoken to) and Lewis was helpful, apologetic and enthusiastic. The experience will be much improved when able to use their customer facilities. Would I use again? If they had the car I was after and the deal was acceptable, yes!
