Bought a Volvo XC60 this Sunday at around 3pm, got it home only a mile away and the warning came up saying battery charge low about an hour later. Looked it up and contacted Volvo for advise and it stated needs a new battery, rang Big Motoring World to explain and they said the earliest daytime appointment to fix thier faulty merchandise was a month away. The only option was to leave the car with them for a night or two for them to test with no offer of a courtesy car. Total rubbish !! As any garage can battery test in minutes without needing a vehicle for that time. I Went to Halfords next day and had a battery fitted in the time it took to buy a Costa for £184.00 instant fix !! Big Motoring need to get thier act together as they should have spotted this in the so called 114 point check at least. Would not recommend them at all for after sales service !!!
