Beware

Put a deposit on a car and travelled the next day to view it. Liked the car but there were a few issues that i wasn't happy with, so after many phone calls to qualified mechanics I decided not to buy the car. I asked for my deposit back but the Salesman said that it was non refundable as he had taken the car out of stock (less than 24 hours) and that he had explained this on the phone. I said that I had been under the impression that the deposit would not be paid back if I didn't turn up. The salesman stated that he had made it quite clear that I wouldn't get the money back and said the he'd had this problem before, which made me think that he is not communicating his side of the contract at all well. Should of read the reviews first........ Lesson learnt
