Very unprofessional!!
I have been a very loyal customer of Car Giant for many years and must have bought and part exchanged 6-7 cars with them over the past 10 years. Called this morning to make sure they still do valuations for part exchange and I was told to just pop in and get the valuation done which I thought was great! I went in and headed straight to the part exchange desk where I waited for a good 5 mins until a member of staff walked in with his coffee and suggested that I should find a car that I want to buy first then get a valuation booked in. How would one calculate their budget without knowing how much they can get for the car they are part exchanging??? I find this ridiculous!!! I agreed and I then went online and found the car I wanted and told them that I was ready only to find out that the old man at the part exchange desk decided to shout accross the room while having a customer sitting in front of him only to tell me that I must get the keys to the car that I want to buy to have a look at it before they can see me for a part exchange!!! AGAIN, how stupid!!! I wanted to know how much they are willing to offer for my car first so that I can calculate my affordability which is common sense in my opinion but Car giant appears to be only interested in forcing you to buy!! You have just lost a very loyal customer and believe me I will no longer be recommending you to anyone!! Good luck surviving!!
