Dont not go near these guys
If you check CarConnect out you'll see they have been in a couple of places. Firstly I bought a BMW 3 series from here - or so I thought. It had been in an accident - shoddy paint job, rims and callipers were just sprayed with silver paint and not refurbished as advertised. Unfortunately, I was late to see it and the light was not good, so I missed it. The cars sat nav did not work and nor did the mic. A rim was cracked AND there was an issue with a sensor. There were also signs the car was clocked. I informed them - after some serious raised voices they said I had to drive (2 hours) to drop the car off and they would give me a car on loan whilst mine was being fixed. When I got there the car was not out and took a lot of time to drive away. Then this 2011 Golf's check engine light comes on the motorway and I lose power. - This happened 3 times over 2 weeks. I of course just drove it and did not care. Feel sorry for whoever bought this - white golf 2011 around 6 months ago. Got the car back with a still broken mic, a shoddy job of putting a new sat nav in (plastic was scratched and cracked etc) Ohhhhh and finally the differential and water pump both went at the same time. Luckily I'm in a position I could lose a lot of money on it and get rid of it. For some people they will spend all they have on a nice car and its not fair or just. Car connect you are dishonest, thick and a laughing stock. Oh did I mention the car sales guys have an IQ of 20. Absolute idiots. Actually almost quite funny watching them walk around looking more and more confused. Ohhhhh and that auto guart warranty - the car has to be totally broken for them to pay out - as in it has to be underivable - its not worth the paper its written on! Andddd if the part is fixable they wont pay for it either. Also its next to dodgy garage - they obvs to the work to the broken cars for them.
