Bought a car from Excel Autos in Coventry recently, the car was advertised with 2 owners and full service history so I thought it was worth the £2000 I paid. Unfortunately he didn't have the paperwork or service booklet with him at the time of viewing and test driving. The guy then asked for a deposit and he would have all the paperwork ready when I collect the car, so I thought fair enough. When I went to collect the car and asked to see the paperwork he then made an excuse that his car valet or driver had the paperwork at his house and he was unable to contact him because he was in another town collecting a car. He then promised that he would post me the service book, to this day I'm still waiting for the service book and now he won't even answer my phone calls. So my advise would be to prospective buyers to stay away from this used car seller, I will be reporting them to trading standards.
