Bought a car under a month ago from the garage, runs well and hasn't missed a beat yet. Sales men we very helpful and couldn't do enough for me when looking at the car and testing it. After the purchase about a month later noticed that the oil level was dropping quite a bit and there was a smell of oil in the car - rocket head gasket needed replaced. Mechanic i use spotted it as soon as he opened the car and said it was clearly there before the sale as it was a bad leak. Contacted the Dealer to see if they would help resolve the issue and was met with an unsympathetic no. Taking no responsibility for the issue and stuck to the bought as seen line. Became very reluctant to help, didn't reply to emails, and failed to call back on multiply occasions. Dealer severely let them selves down with the after sale service. becoming very difficult to deal with and wanting nothing to do with me once they had my money. Also told by sales man that because my car was a lower end model they couldn't afford it with the profit margins. Cost of the car should not dictate if you a re allowed to sell faulty goods or not.
