Purchased a Vauxhall Antara from the Ideal Motor Company need 4 wheel drive car for towing caravan. Took car for test run seemed ok ,So decide it would be ok so sign for it then found out Antara's have diabolical reviews .phone garage to try to get out of the contract but salesman reluctant said car he would pay half of warranty should have realised the something was wrong with car. But they said cars are fine sold many of them.so took delivery of car ,I don't need car for work so didn't drive it much .then noticed coolant down filled it but did not drive car for 3 week checked coolant before driving down again booked car into garage had to wait as they were very busy,When car went in they called for me to come in to see the car with the front bumper and grill off could see the headlight bracket on o/s broken damage to radiator damage ro intercooler could see the over spray damage to air conditioner and damage to the bumper brackets .went garage to complain salesman very offhanded said should have brought car back told him hardly drove car so took time to notice faults .aske if he would take car back got sneering no .warranty company did pay for new radiator £600.loss of 2 decided to get rid of car took it to Evan Halshaw who put car up on ramp .found oil leak at back of engine and would need engine out over 2 days to repair at very high expense. the car was suppose to have been service before I took it these faults would have been noticed during this time .Took car to webuycar,com sold at a loss 'of £2700 you have been warned be very careful buying from the and don't buy Antara TERRY KENNEDY
