Cowboys, not professionals
Dealt with two individuals, Masoud, the business owner, and Zubair, an associate and owner of the car I was interesting in buying. Confirmed with Masoud on the day the car is available and the listed price is correct. Check the car over, am happy and want to discuss how to pay. Am shown by Zubair a text message sent from a mystery customer 15 minutes ago offering £700 more than the listed price. Am told if I want to buy the car, I need to improve upon that offer. Get up and leave. I took a day off work, spent five hours on the roads and took out temporary car insurance only to realise I am dealing with a pair of muppets. If they cannot even be honest about what price they are willing to sell a car, God only knows what else they have lied about either intentionally or by omission. My experience says that these are cowboys, not professionals. Give them a wide berth if you value your time and prefer to deal with honest individuals.
