Shockingly unprofessional

I paid a £300 deposit over the phone on a car which was described as having clean body work and been in good condition, I traveled 195 miles Which took 4 hours just to get there later the same day to collect and pay for the car, when I arrived I found the car had a broken drivers door handle that didn’t work properly, the wheel arch and several plastic trims were hanging off , the airbag warning light was on, the rear of the car had been sprayed and looked awful with what looked like an aerosol can and I was informed that because it was a part exchange vehicle it didn’t come with warranty despite it saying free warranty in the online advert, I decided not to buy the car as it was nowhere near the condition it was make out to be only to be told I couldn’t have my deposit back, joke of a garage and I will be taking legal action to get my deposit back
