Stereotypical used car dealer
Honda CR-V purchased. The car pulled to the left even after wheel alignment and tracking. However< i bought the car in good faith with some money off for notable tyre wear. The rear brake discs consistently warped (I had to replace these twice) which grated and caused marked brake judder. The salesman was annoyingly repetitive with his claims that it was just due to the crown of the road even though I assured him that the car pulled to the left when driving on the opposite side of the road or on the flat. I changed tyres, brake callipers, repeat tracking, full check of transmission, suspension and brakes - nil found. The 3 month £500 limit AA warranty in my opinion was not worth the paper it was printed on and was used as a caveat to absolve themselves of responsibility for the car when I called them. I suspected the car had been crashed and repaired outside of insurance as I also discovered the rear nearside window did not contact the seal 'at all' and the rear nearside wheel was the worst for disc warping. I managed to call the previous owner (1 only since new) as his number was on some of the paperwork. He stated that the car was always great and that he part-exchanged it for a new car at an Audi dealership in Chesterfield around 3 months before my purchase with around '5,000' miles less on the clock than when I bought the vehicle!
