Helpful Honest garage

Had a great long chat with a fella called Paul about a possible purchase of a used car at his garage.... he answered all my questions and what stood out is that he told me he didn't know the answer to a couple of questions about the previous M.O.T tests which I found very honest as salesmen usually from experience answer everything to get a sale. His relaxed approach stood out for me and integrity seems afar these days. We couldn't quite agree on the part exchange value for my car as it was over 125k+ miles but a good runner - what was fantastic is he gave me advise on what I could do with my car (the local gazette?) and maybe the online free market places which was very good of him. It took me a couple of weeks of messers and I eventually found a buyer for my car and I don't think I could have done it without his help. Living only 15 miles from his garage he sent his chatty friendly valeter to collect me as I was car-less to pick up my car from them. The quality and service is nothing I have experienced before and suffice to say even in my twilight years they have gained a customer for life. The click and collect experience was quite unfamiliar to me but he explained unfortunately its just the current situation and everything will be back to normal soon. I'll take him up on his offer for a visit when we are out of this lockdown and his offering of his phone number if I had any questions was a very nice touch. Thanks for the great service Paul.
