I bought a Peugeot RCZ from Richlee motors on 3/9/2015 within 2 hours of driving it off their forecourt it had a noise coming from the clutch each time I used it I took the car in to Richlee's the next morning, their mechanic took the car for a drive and said he could not hear any noise they agreed to take the car in for a couple of days and after driving it said they would replace the clutch. This did not cure the problem and after having the car back in a couple more times told me that there was no fault and I should go to a Peugeot main dealer and if I got proof there was a fault then they would pay for it to be fixed. I did this and they reported back that there was a fault, the main dealer contacted Richlee's and told them that an inspection would need to be done inside the gearbox and a part replaced but it might not fix the problem richlee's paid the bill for this approx. £200. Unfortunately this did not fix the fault after this Richlee's refused to pay anymore money to fix the car I rang the owner of Richlee motors Mr Richard Shayler and he said that he would not speak to me anymore and that I should get a solicitor he then put the phone down on me. I contacted citizens advice and they said to go to my bank as I paid with a debit card. They said that they could only help if I returned the car or got a letter of rejection from Richlee's. I took the car to them and saw the manager Jerry, he said said they would not take it back or sign any rejection letter so I locked the car up in front of their workshop put the key in my pocket and walked away. Richlee's had 60 days to respond to the bank with their evidence of why I should not be given a full refund which they did not do so the bank took the money from them and refunded it to me all this has taken 6 months and during this time I have not had a car to drive as the main dealer advised against using the car and the last 2 months it has been locked up at richlee's. In my opinion Richard Shayler the owner and Jerry the manager are both horrible men who use bullying tactics to try to get there own way.

Had bought my car from Richlee Motor Co Ltd a month and half ago. I had to bring car back to them on 4 occasions for thumping noises coming from under car, loss of power, no engine guard. I paid Audi to inspect at my own cost then for Richlee Motors to pay for nuts and bolts etc under their own warranty but want to use official parts which Richie Motors wont install. If you can't see the engine guard WHY would I let you touch the car? Then the first time I had a conversation with Richie who was really controlling and abusive whilst also giving threats. What kind of behaviour is this? I would never let Richlee Motors touch or look at any car and when I asked for money back and was told NO. This all came out of Richlees mouth when I talked to him. In my opinion he is a horrible man, this could have been a good business if he doesn't work there and treat people like this.
I purchased my used Alpha Romeo over the internet from a picture and a description of the vehicle. I travelled 250 miles to Richlee Motor Co to take delivery and when I saw it, the car was everything as described and better! The deal was completed with Justin who was most helpful and professional and made sure that the car was perfect for me in every way. Also I was most impressed by the sales manager, Jerry a truly "hands on" manager, who showed real appreciation of the customer's business, even though he is kept so busy. Would I buy another car from this firm and recommend them? Most definitely, YES!!!
I have purchased two cars from this company and on both occasions there have been problems transfering the private number plates after the sale. On the first occasion I was left chasing up for a tax disc (therefore unable to drive the car) and on the second occasion I believe that I have lost my nuumber plate as they failed to identify which paperwork needed to be completed, i.e. to move the private plate onto my new vehicle. it now looks as though I have lost my number plate which is worth hundreds of pounds. The cars seem good, aftersales is very poor.
Where do i start???? The first part of the sale was good, i did a part exchange, all smooth, the problems started a few days later when i went back I was told that there was a mis understanding to put it politely about the valuation of a part ex (now this should have been checked really- would they have come back to me and given me money back, I doubt it) I then had to part with money even though the transaction had all gone through. Not really good that. I do love my car just didn't like how they was regarding a mistake they made, there is better ways to do things!

Very good company and will be very helpful and if you do get a problem Leo the mechanic will do his best to sort it. I can recommend them.
