A credit to the industry
From the moment I walked into the showroom in October 2021 and met Richard Fisher, the service I've received from Riverside has been exemplary. He answered all my stupid questions, then he trusted me with the keys to a Volvo XC40 and allowed me to just take it out by myself to see if I liked it. When I placed the order, I received an honest estimate about delivery times and I was kept regularly informed about any delays. I collected my new car on Friday - later than originally anticipated, but that's through no fault of Riverside's - there'd already been a pandemic to contend with when I ordered it, then a war kicked off where they make some of the parts so frankly, knowing the delays being experienced by some folks I know who have been waiting for new cars (mostly german ones), it actually arrived quicker than I'd feared. That wasn't the only welcome surprise though - it was so worth the wait. The car is fantastic in every respect. Once it finally arrived, Richard took the time to talk me through the features of the car and explained all the add-on services at length (but when I didn't need the extra protections, he wasn't pushy at all). He even paired the car up with my mobile phone and talked me through the Volvo App. Oh, and I must give a shout out to Vicky too, who looked after me a few days ago when I called in whilst passing and Richard was out. Everyone there is lovely and really helpful, the coffee's great and the showroom spotless - an absolute credit to the industry.
