Travelled 150 miles to purchase a car for my daughter. After speaking to Jay over the phone I felt very comfortable leaving a deposit as he came across very honest and trustworthy. When I arrived the following day the car was exactly as Jay had said and I left a very happy customer. Would 100% recommend this car dealer!!

Some mixed reviews here but i bought a Focus ST3 in August 2017 last year and the car was solid, drives well, had no issues what so ever, both Adam and his Father were respectful and willing to work out a deal. Wouldn't normally leave reviews but I'm happy with my purchase and the cars been perfect for me. Thank you

I bought a Honda Civic yesterday from smart car sales , never I have experienced better customer service !!! Communication first class, always giving me progress reports even when my choice of car was sold , adam and his dad sourced me another , even running me to a post office to tax said vehicle , which I might add is first class !!

Left a deposit on an Audi s3 which Smart Car Sales described as mint condition, no blemishes etc but the car was a complete mess! Pretty much every panel had some form of scratch on it, the back bumper had obviously collided with something and was all scraped. The leather interior was worn and dirty. There was a botched job trying to cover stone chips on the bumper. The ''new wheels'' were not new and the ''new tyres'' were about 50% worn. Description claimed timing belt had been done etc however it had been done 5 years previously and therefore needed to be done again yet he refused to be moved on price to compensate for this needing done. He claimed the car had been professionally valeted but I handed him a receipt I had found in it from 9 months previously. Before I had left a deposit and gone to see it, I had spoke to someone on the phone who told me it had been MOT'd with no advisories. A few days later while doing the necessary pre-checks, I seen that it hadn't been MOT'd and I sent an email questioning this. The response I got was telling me it was booked in for Thursday (I was due to be collecting on Sat). These guys must be able to see in to the future because on Thursday it was MOT'd with no advisories...I asked while I was there to confirm that the car had been moved to be MOT'd and he said yes so I asked why there were cobwebs on the wheel arch/tyre. He told me I was ''too picky'' and if I didn't want a car with marks on it I should buy a brand new one. He was told that I wasn't being ''picky'' and the description wasn't accurate and if he had told the truth and said it had some scratches etc I would have been more prepared for the awful mess it was in. I told him that the car wasn't as described, it hadn't been MOT'd and I wanted my deposit back. He tried to only give me half of it but I stood my ground and refused to leave without my deposit which he eventually did give in to because he wanted rid of us. He must have thought that I was going to be some silly little pushover who would not question anything because I had been so enthusiastic about the car however, I am no pushover and wasn't going to be bullied, I had left my home at 4 am to travel down to get that war, arrived there at 8.45 am and was gone by 9 am with my deposit back for the long drive home again. Luckily for me I have a very understanding boyfriend who had driven me down but was more than happy for me to leave without it because the company weren't going to be moved on the price but it certainly wouldn't have been worth paying the price they were asking for it! Smart Car Sales are a complete waste of time.

After traveling for 3.5 hours to view the focus st2 2010 which was advertised as mint condition by Smart Car Sales. No money needs spent on it. Totally original. Far from the truth. Car covered in scratches. Bonnet was so bad a full respray was needed. Alloy wheels beyond repair been botched up black paint . Panels been badly resprayed. Bumper badly resprayed . Bodykit glued on aread . All tyres were mismatched cheap makes. Steering Wheel shuddering. Car pulling to the ledt . engine looks like its been sitting in a scrapyard for years. Interior tatty. Very badly looked after car. Advise as a damaged not recorded repair. Complete waste of journey.

bought a lovely car from here for my son.dealer was on the ball communication wise, they kept in contact letting me know when everything would be ready to go. The car was immaculate they did a good job valeting it and was serviced and given a new mot.I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending them that's for sure.
