If I could give Stoneacre Boongate Peterborough a Zero Rating I would. We purchased a used Ford KUGA Car in Frozen White from them on the 8th Sept 2023. It had one previous owner, low mileage and seemed in good condition apart from the odd stone chip here & there which you would expect. To cut a long story short. After a week while washing the car, I noticed Dents on the bodywork. I reported this to them by telephone & email, explaining I was not happy. I gave them a quote to repair the Damage which came to £1000.00. But they weren’t interested or willing to come to any some sort of agreement. I have been arguing the case ever since. I took the Car to Fords and asked them to consider a Trade in. The sales guy said this is in good condition isn’t it I said look again. I pointed out the Damage and they couldn’t believe what they saw between 35-50 Dents across the bonnet & Roof. Albeit shallow dents that you only see under certain light conditions, that my repair guy said had been caused by Hail. Ford said with this sort of Damage they could only offer £16000.00. Making me £4695.00 out of pocket. Finally it’s the old story of the Used Car Salesman. Once they’ve got your money & you’ve signed on the dotted line albeit electronically. Your screwed!! I expected a lot better from this Company. Had they been willing to come to some sort of agreement regarding the damage. I would of consider giving them a better rating! But I will not be recommending them to anybody in the future. it’s a disgrace! Ps Perhaps the Stoneacre CEO would like to comment on this?
