Please read before buying from YAB Cars
I bought a Renault Megane advertised with 3 Months warranty and an oil change 50 miles ago. A couple of weeks after buying it, the engine failure warning light came on. I asked YAB to send me the details of the warranty which he said he would email but never did. I ended up spending £350. My garage told me it had not had an oil change for a long time. YAB paid £200 on the agreement that this was the end of the matter which I confirmed in writing. A month later the clutch started to smell. My garage confirmed that clutch needs replacing. Again I asked for the warranty details and I was told that I will have to pay £100 and he will set it the warranty with AA and I can claim the following day and to not mention to them that it had been an issue before the warranty was set up. He was asking me to commit fraud. I refused and told him I expected to pay the cost of the clutch. He is now ignoring me and I will be reporting him to trading standards. Do not trust a word of any advert for any car this guy is selling. FRAUDSTER
