Purchased a Renault Megane advertised as automatic with full leather interior, paid £2200 via bank transfer and promised delivery Monday. Couldn't get hold of John, the owner, Monday but when he called back he claimed his driver was off sick but he would still arrange Tuesday delivery but would get back to me. And didn't. Tuesday I had the same issue, finally got informed my car would arrive Thursday and I demanded the delivery man's number. Vehicle arrived, cloth interior, manual transmission. Checked advert which had been altered, thankfully I took a photo of the advert Saturday and had been eying the advert up most of the week. Delivery man refused to take vehicle back, called dealership to no avail. Got in touch with trading standards, police, and a solicitor and was promised a refund when my solicitor called, to be arranged Tuesday. I don't believe this will happen. John has made many excuses as to the advert listing claiming it automatically came up automatic transmission and leather interior but he amended it last week, told my solicitor his son did it. I even sent texts relating to the full leather interior and wasn't corrected. I am paraplegic thus can only drive drive automatic vehicles which I install hand controls to, so now I'm £2200 overdrawn and without a car that I can use for however long this takes to resolve. John offered me a gold one that he claims is auto and full leather. On pictures it is half leather (may even be full cloth) with a manual transmission. There were no images of the interior of the Megane purchased. Do not deal with Forum Car Sales. ***REVIEW UPDATE 30.12.15***I would like to make it clear that Forum Car Sales only recitified my initial complaint having seen this review.
