Con Artists and Bandits

I was told to reserve the car on line and pay the £250 deposit, they are now saying that this was not compulsory and are refusing to pay back my deposit. I would never have reserved the car through a 3rd party unless I was told that I had to do this by the Garage. What a bunch of con artists - Buyers beware go to another Garage if this is how they make their money it clearly shows they do not hold the Customers as their priority and don't care how they make their money. I didn't even view the car.
