AVOID AVOID

I WISH I had read the review page before I made a purchase here. I had my previous car stolen and came to Kieran at VW Chester to purchase a golf I had seen and loved online. He checked it, told me it was available and to secure it I needed to pay £199 deposit via a link asap. He sent the link and I paid immediately. I got a receipt confirming payment and the registration of the vehicle. I confirmed where I lived and he said it would be best to send me a video of the vehicle as it was a 4 hour drive to make sure I was happy with it, his idea I don’t ask for it. I confirmed it was all saved for me - did he need proof of funds. He confirmed it’s reserved and no need for proof he believed me. Then all the trouble started. By the next day I hadn’t received a link- I rang at 8:30 am Kieran hadn’t logged on and had a meeting so would call me back. 11:30 no call- I rang again - spoke to Kieran . He said he had sent the video so I gave him another email in case it wouldn’t work with the first one. I said I’d like to pay in full today and when could it be delivered he said Thursday . I reiterated I have no car due to the theft and asap would be best for me. He said he is doing car sale at 11:45 and would call me straight after. Nothing. I called again Kieran was never available again, 8 times of calling and leaving messages and emailing him. I spoke to Ish and said could someone else please help me. He looked up the car and said it’s been sold to someone else. I thought there must be a mistake- he assured me it wasn’t to me. In short Kieran clearly messed up- took my money forgot to show it as sold then had no balls to tell me over the phone. I asked to speak to a manager - Tyler. Also sooo busy he couldn’t talk to me and would call back. 5:30pm- 8 hours of stressing , no one calling me back, no emails. I spoke to Danny who needs to get out of there asap - he talked to me and initiated the refund of the deposit. He told me that the deposit is not a legally binding contract - It definitely is! DO NOT TRUST THESE people- DO NOT DEAL with KIERAN or TYLER. I wasted 8 hours of my life and so much anxiety today . AWFUL service . And the car is still showing available online !!!
