★☆☆☆☆ Regret Buying from Car Point Luton

I purchased a car from Car Point Luton less than a year ago and have had nothing but problems since. The car broke down within 3 months, again at 4 months (requiring a new battery, timing chain, and engine), and has now broken down a third time — it’s completely undriveable. When I reached out for support, I was passed from the dealer to the after-sales team, who ignored me for days. Once they finally responded, they denied any responsibility and told me to deal with the finance company instead — despite the fact that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 clearly states the supplying dealer is also responsible for faults present at the time of sale. This has caused huge financial strain and made life incredibly difficult, especially as I rely on this car to support a family member with serious health needs. The lack of accountability, care, or willingness to help has been shocking. If you’re thinking about buying from Car Point, I strongly suggest you reconsider. My experience has been nothing short of stressful and disappointing.
