I was asking about a vehicle but was told if I wanted it I had to pay a £400 deposit before coming to look at it, I was told Esther I bought vehicle or not I would get my deposit back or if purchased it would come if the price, I said I could just come down to look, he kept saying I need to pay a deposit, I asked for the company details to check them on Companies House, I found the parent company dissolved 9 years ago !! He became aggressive !! I did not proceed with a viewing ! Who pays a deposit to view a car ???? Strange ! I was offered a reasonable P/X and a discount if I paid up front in full, before viewing !!
