Immense help for a nervous customer!

I travelled to Mitchel Skoda yesterday (catching an early morning train from Lincolnshire) to pick up our new car. We'd been over the previous Friday and with help from Dawn Sutton, whom I can't praise highly enough, and from Mark Mitchell himself, we found our perfect new car. We made this long journey based on my husband being so impressed with Mark's eulogy 5 years earlier at my cousin's funeral. My husband said this was where we must get our next car from. He was so right in that decision. I've never driven an automatic but I was given the confidence to try one and what was suggested was the perfect match for our needs. All the stops were pulled out so I could collect the car yesterday, the only date I had available to travel for a number of weeks, so I want to add huge praise to the garage staff who did all necessary checks and work to enable me to drive it away. Dawn collected me from the station, set up everything I needed, without overwhelming me with information and took me on another 'driving lesson' and even showed me an easier route to the motorway so I could avoid the big Cheshire Oakes roundabout. She furnished me with a new in car charger to enable my ancient cable to fit. The icing on the cake was a beautiful bouquet and a handshake and chat with BBC's Sean Fletcher who was filming Songs of Praise there. Despite all my initial nervousness I got our lovely Kamiq safely back to Lincolnshire without attempting to change gear - all thanks to Dawn's patient tuition. Well done Mitchell's and all the brilliant staff involved!
