Poor customer service
Bought a used car from them 16 months ago. They called me up out of the blue two weeks ago saying its due a service. I was told on this unexpected call that the cost of the service was included in my service plan, they just wanted to charge an extra £80 for brake fluid change. Fine. Drop my car off in the morning, 30 minutes later phone call. "You've said on the booking form that you had a service plan, you don't, it's going to cost you £400." Explained to the employee what had happened, I would never have agreed to pay £400 for a service as my brother-in-law is a mechanic. Employee just tried to up-sell me a service plan, which wouldn't cost me anything as "I could do it on direct debit"!! Tell them I'm not happy, I'll be in later to pick up my car. Turn up, no apology or anything, just "here is the key. the car is where you left it". Called to speak to a manager. No response. Had 3 VW's in past 8 years (2 from Chester, 1 from Warrington). Never again. Crap service and no idea how to treat a customer.
