Timewasting

Arranged to view and test drive a used car. Carried out the test drive Saturday at 3pm all good, arranged to return this morning with my daughter’s car so they could look for part exchange value. Arrived at the stated time, noticed another customer test driving the same car we had looked at yesterday. Salesperson took my daughters keys went away to look at p/x value, returned and said car was no longer available as the other people were going ahead with purchasing. Spoke to the manager who asked me if I wanted it why didn’t I put down a holding fee yesterday, I explained had I been asked to I would have, only details I got yesterday were bring my daughters car in and we would agree the purchase. Managers response ‘I sell cars’? I don’t believe for a second that the sales people didn’t speak amongst themselves as to what deals they had ongoing? Really shabby experience from Drive Hartlepool and I won’t bother again with them.
