Avoid!!! A Proper Dirty Wheeler Dealer
Auto100 — Shocking Service, Especially from a company Director Tim! Avoid! Financial Ombudsman Service ordered them to collect and refund! So they have lied in their review as-well. Dodgy wheeler dealer. Picture of the car taken back. I am absolutely disgusted by my experience with Auto100. In July 2024, I bought a Range Rover 5.0L SV Autobiography from them — a premium car that, within weeks, showed serious mechanical faults: knocking differentials, noisy supercharger pulley, vibrations, and possible power loss. But the real nightmare wasn’t just the car — it was the way Auto100, and in particular a company Director Tim treated me when I asked for help. Instead of standing behind their product, Tim was dismissive, rude, and obstructive. He outright told me things like “You have no right of rejection” and “Stop sending pointless letters”. Rather than offer practical solutions, they demanded I drive the car hundreds of miles back to them for inspection, despite me offering reasonable local alternatives with qualified Land Rover specialists. To make it even worse, they didn’t even activate my warranty until 10 weeks after the sale — meaning I couldn’t even claim on it when the problems began. That’s not just poor service; that’s negligent. This entire experience has caused huge stress, cost me financially (I even had to sell my wife’s car to cover the looming bills), and forced me to escalate the case to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you’re thinking about buying from Auto100, think again. Once they have your money, you’re on your own — and if you dare complain, you may find yourself facing a company Director like Tim, who treats genuine customer concerns with contempt. Save yourself the time, money, and heartache: avoid Auto100.
