I would not buy from this seller again

Bought a car off him in good faith, we were told that this car was in perfect condition and we wouldn’t find another like it. We were not able to collect it until his garage had completed all the checks and service. When I drove it home, within 10 minutes, lights had come up on the dashboard and it felt skittish and wasn’t driving correctly and it was completely unsafe to drive. The seller only replied to one of our emails after few days after we bought it and offered us £250. We had to have the car off the road for over 6 weeks and we had to replace the haldex unit which was costly. My partner has sent emails but we haven’t had any reply. I would not buy from this seller again.
