Absolute Cowboys. Untrained and rude.

FRAUDULENT WORK DO NOT USE "UPDATE: Further to me leaving this review on Google, Scott and Tracey have today approached a family member of mine about this review and insisted they ask me to remove it. I shall do no such thing." Put my car into the Stirling branch today for my brakes to be checked after I reported a metallic scraping sound happening upon braking. The vehicle was checked and I was sent a video from the technician which said “your car came in with a complaint of noise from the brakes, I’ve checked the brakes and they’re fine, the noise is coming from the suspension”. I was advised that the track rod ends needed replaced in order to fix the problem. Weird, but I’m no mechanic. The track rod ends were replaced but lo and behold the noise prevailed. Upon getting another of their technicians to look at the car, they then advised that the brake pads and discs were completely bald and not the noise was the two metal parts scraping together. The same brakes which less than 24hours before they’d claimed to inspect and deemed safe and problem free. They then wanted me to pay for the brakes to be replaced and the suspension, despite the suspension never being the problem and the mechanic making a gross safety error. I spoke with Tracey who was incredibly rude and actually hung up when I asked her to stop interrupting me. I then called and eventually managed to speak to Scott (general manager) who was unpleasant to say the least. He threatened to keep my keys; said mistakes happen and the mechanic who said my brakes were fine was inexperienced so it wasn’t his fault and I’d just need to pay for both jobs. When I reiterated that the only reason the suspension was done was because of the mechanics error and I’d been entirely incorrectly advised, Scott’s reply was “you said that already said that darlin’”. Disgusting and sexist behaviour from any employee, but from the GM?! I’ve had to pay the bill as I was threatened with not getting my car back, but don’t touch these guys. They’re absolute cowboys. There was a lot of back and forth but to sum up, and in Scott the General Manager's own words “if you know our service is crap, why put your car in?”
