Review of Parks and Peter Vardy My experience with this company has been nothing short of horrific. First car supplied: It came with the wrong brakes fitted, despite me pointing out during the test drive that the car was pulling and the brakes didn’t feel right. When I collected it, the brakes still didn’t work properly, and the car kept traveling when trying to stop. Another garage later confirmed the brakes were wrong. Staff conduct: Alistair was completely dismissive and arrogant, even putting his hands up in my face and saying “I don’t want to pick a fight.” His attitude was intimidating. Service staff David scratched my bumper. Sasha was unhelpful and dismissive of serious safety concerns. Harry Robertson treated me poorly and dismissed me from the office with a bullying attitude. Broken promises: Scott Burnett assured me I’d have “no issues” and would be refunded (£9,600 plus £160 payments = £9,760 total) if problems continued. That hasn’t been honoured. He put 9100 if that on the new car I received £900 compensation for the brake issue, but they refused to put it in writing to avoid a paper trail. Ongoing vehicle faults: The first car lasted just 24 miles before reduced engine power kicked in. It appeared to have been clocked or tampered with. The replacement Ford Focus came with unbalanced wheels, faulty seatbelts (how it passed MOT is a mystery), and non-genuine fuel parts that caused loss of traction. Despite multiple “fixes,” the car remained unsafe — slipping and losing traction on the road. Even after a diagnostic and recall at Ford, the issues persisted. Safety ignored: It took 17 weeks for them to take my complaints about safety seriously, and only after an independent Scotia report confirmed the vehicle lost traction dangerously. That repair cost them £2,700, yet they still deny responsibility. After 15+ visits, multiple cars, unsafe repairs, dismissive staff, and intimidation, I’ve been left with unsafe vehicles, wasted time, and broken promises. This company has failed in duty of care, professionalism, and honesty. Buyers beware — my experience shows they will not take responsibility even when safety is at
