Nearly 5 weeks without my car.

Hartwell have left me in limbo without my car for nearly 5 weeks. Communication and support have been non existent, and Hartwell customer service is without question the worst I've experienced. Their chosen warranty company have lacked in basic customer service also. I collected the car in January 2025, had it serviced as per schedule, by August of the same year the car needed a complete new engine. The warranty policy I took covers the issue, but even after jumping through many hoops to evidence the faults Hartwell have continued to drag their feet and ask ridiculous and unreasonable requests of me. One of which was an expectation of me to cover a £6k difference between what the repairs garage costed the replacement engine at to what Hartwell were willing to pay. Also the expectation that I find a new garage to repair the car and organise recovery from the garage it still presently sits. Their handling of my warranty claims is shameful, and embarrassing for such an established company. I've received 4 incoming calls in almost this 5 weeks, all other communication has been of my chasing. Hartwells warranty company also seem to have lost faith and suggested I deal with the seller directly stating it was Hartwell that were holding proceedings up. I've been fairly patient along this still unresolved situation, but leaving a customer without much needed means of transport is negligible. I hope this review helps others.
