Awful, avoid!

Used this fordstore as they offered a deal through Carwow, despite being further from home than my local dealership gave it a try. First impressions, communications were awful! I wasn’t given updates on my new car purchase, wasn’t told when it came into country and had to call them to find out my car was even at the showroom ready to be collected… no one told me anything. Next thing, got to the showroom, ready to collect my car. There was no sort of after sales treatment. Once upon a time you’d get flowers or a bottle of wine for buying a brand new, 40k car. This time all I got was 1/4 a tank of petrol and 5 miles of electric charge, 10% of the capacity of the battery. On a brand new car… Move on, 2 years down the line getting ready to hand the car back at end of finance. Marshall’s gave me the run around trying to book it, was told multiple times they are unable to accept returns and had to go direct through to ford credit. Was only when I contacted them did they inform me that Marshalls were just trying to avoid doing any work and it was in fact them that did the hand backs. Move on to the hand back, despite showing up at the time alotted, the manager was “unavailable” for an hour so we were sat down and left there. 30 minutes pass before we were told to leave our things and paperwork and they would sort it all out. We left the dealership, advised that ALL paperwork would be dealt with and left thinking the whole ordeal was done. 6 months later, get a letter from DVLA with a fine for no insurance after marshals failed to update keeper details or advise myself or ford credit accordingly that it needed doing. Not only this, on the day of hand back they took the V5 preventing me from even updating details. When I approached them to complain about this, once more, given the run around until I had the displeasure of talking to the sales manager. This manager was completely unhelpful, refused to take responsibility for the part the dealership had to play in the fine I had for £160 from dvla and even to this date, refuses to even acknowledge that they messed up. All in all, terrible experience buying, using and returning a car with them. Awful dealership. Awful service and I would avoid like the absolute plague!!! Edit: not only this, this reply where I got asked to contact them to further investigate, this got completely ignored. Clearly their way of trying to look like they were offering a solution when in truth, they don’t care
