The Stoneacre Nightmare!
The Stoneacre Nightmare! So my partner and I purchased two brand new cars from Alex Owen back in April 2024 (My goodness was this going to be the worst financial mistake we ever made was the biggest understatement of the century). So we're now nearly 18 months into our agreements fighting out mistakes with the FCA that not even two other reputable Cupra/Seat Dealerships could understand why Stoneacre would inflate both vehicle purchase prices then, to add insult to injury, double VAT on both purchases that would mean trading in is near impossible. Honestly we were a reputable customer for over 10 years at the Newark Road Branch but even after trying to sort this out directly with the management team, raise complaints with the appropriate team to also just to be ignored by Stoneacre generally has left us with little option but to seek further intervention. Just sad how two cars we have work so hard to get are just ruined by mistakes from this branch.
