Like most people - an awful experience
I purchased a used AMG which was great but then the 1st service and problems started. The car was sold as serviced. I connected the Mercedes Me app and found it it hadn't been and was due a maintenance service by the end of September. Synter kindly offered to cover the cost which they did. The car had a number of things that needed fixing at the time of the service: 1 - Idle speed was too low - I asked for it to be adjusted - it wasn't. 2 - Visual inspection of front underside as vibration in steering wheel over a certain speed. It wasn't. 3 - Constant ticking noise from engine (to me sounded chain related) but needed a ticket raised with MB and have heard nothing back. 4 - Rear window rubber which protect the screen from boot slams, as it was coming off (didn't notice at time of sale, my bag) - Synter needed to order a new one. Since the service there has been no update from Synter in 3 weeks. The dealership has not provided any update whatsoever, does it take this long to get parts from MB? Radio silence has continued and it seems that MB and Synter don't care at all. At the time of the service I was made to feel that they wanted me out of the dealership as quickly as possible. I was rushed out of the dealership (I will be paying for a full inspection of the car as a result of this action as I am very suspicious of their behaviour). Buying a used AMG and getting it serviced is not a great experience. They take your money for the car and clearly don't give a stuff. I cannot recommend Synter.
