AVOID AUDENSHAW MOTORS!!! HONEST REVIEW!

I purchased an Audi Q3 from them on 19/04/2025 through finance. Within weeks, the car showed serious faults — oil warnings, loss of power on the motorway (struggling to go above 60mph), black smoke from the exhaust, and fumes with a strong chemical smell coming from the bonnet. tried to sell me a 3-month warranty at extra cost, despite the car already having severe undisclosed faults at the point of sale. To add to this, the vehicle was advertised on AutoTrader at a higher price than it was advertised for on their Facebook page — a clear case of misleading sales practice. Each time the vehicle was returned to the dealership and their repairing garage, it came back with new or worse problems. Instead of resolving issues, the dealership repeatedly dismissed my concerns, denied responsibility, or shifted blame. The dealership mis-sold the vehicle and falsely claimed major repairs had been completed. In particular, they told me a new DPF had been fitted. However, two independent mechanics later confirmed the DPF was the original old unit — it had simply been cleaned. The AdBlue pipe was broken, wasn’t broken when the vehicle was acquired) and the gearbox had been tampered with: 3rd and 5th gears would not engage, and reverse gear was completely inoperative, none existent. All these problems arose after the vehicle was brought in for a so called repair. The car was unsafe and unroadworthy. I was left with a unsafe and unroadworthy vehicle for 4 months and had to rely on alternative transport at my own expense. Adam is, and has been extremely unprofessional throughout. He has been consistently rude, disrespectful, argumentative, cutting me off the phone, shouting, instigating and deliberately making provocative remarks and continuously bullied me for me to retaliate and act out of character. He repeatedly bullied and intimidated me because I am a woman, but never displayed such behaviour when my partner was present. Every conversation I had he was repeatedly hostility at me, making the process very intimidating and unpleasant. On more than one occasion, his comments and behaviour crossed abusive. It’s unacceptable and should not be tolerated under no circumstance! In the end, the car was formally rejected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 with confirmation from my finance provider and an independent engineering inspection. To make matters worse, he openly claimed his dealership did not owe my deposit back, claimed to have provided me with a logbook that I’ve never been given. He also blocked me on WhatsApp which prevented me from communicating. ⚠️ Advice for anyone dealing with this dealership: Keep a full written log of dates and events, always request written confirmation, and avoid dealing with them over the phone. My experience shows they cannot be trusted to act professionally or honestly. This has been the worst car-buying experience I have ever had — stressful, costly, and prolonged. If you value honesty, professionalism, and safety, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership at all cost!!!! ⚠️Update: The same Audi Q3 I returned in September 2025, has now been re-advertised by Audenshaw Motors on AutoTrader and Facebook.
