Awful car dealership
⭐☆☆☆☆ Awful experience with Marshall Škoda Northampton – avoid I purchased a used Škoda Scala (KM21 XHB) from Marshall Škoda Northampton in June 2025 for £13,750. Within just 2,500 miles of ownership the car developed serious faults: both track rod ends split, brakes were corroded and rubbing, and a persistent engine knock/tick appeared. To keep the car roadworthy I had to spend £541 at another Škoda dealer for urgent repairs, with old parts retained as evidence. Despite this, Marshall Northampton have repeatedly denied liability, even suggesting without evidence that a third-party alignment service caused the damage. Škoda UK customer service have been no better — repeated delays, broken promises of call-backs, and no real resolution. Months later, I’m still out of pocket, still driving a car with faults, and still waiting for accountability. This whole experience has been stressful, costly, and deeply disappointing. I trusted Marshall to sell me a car of satisfactory quality, but instead I’ve been left battling to enforce my basic consumer rights. I cannot recommend Marshall Škoda Northampton and would strongly caution others to think twice before buying a car from them. Terry
