Liars - Rude - Avoid

Rang up to ask about a VW Caddy,, asked the usual questions and if there were any signs of damage/respray etc. Was told no, so set off on a 2 hour journey to go see the van. Arrived at the garage, the roof had some scratches on that would polish out, so wasn't a problem, however the bonnet had had a really bad respray/repair job. You could clearly see where it had been sanded back, painted over and lacquered on top of. Dust/grit in the paint as well as a fair few other imperfections. Far from acceptable, really badly curbed alloys too, which wasn't mentioned when asked. The staff were fine on the phone, but nothing but rude in person and said "well it's not a new van" before walking back into their office. This wasn't just wear and tear though, it was a cheap repair that they were dismissing. I know the van was 6 years old and had some miles on it, but I asked these questions specifically when I rang to ask if it was still available and that i'd be travelling to see it. Didn't want any surprises when I got there. Would advise avoiding this garage, bad attitude if you question anything. Can only imagine what their aftercare would have been like had I of had problems with a vehicle after buying from them.
