Mr A

Unpleasant

Here goes my experience, overall transaction went well. Car was more or less what was advertised, its not a brand new car so, wasn't too picky.Be mindful and ask them to see the car cold. Mines was warmed up ( "as they washed it " car was at 90° when i arrived ) even though i had asked for it and that stopped me from noticing that the glow plugs needed replaced as car was shaking on cold start up.Would it have been a deal breaker for me ? No,more the fact it was hidden. Please pay attention to milage. Mines was advertised as almost 800 less,i noticed it and we came to an agreement. Again, not a crazy thing, but creates an image. Once you buy the car , they will do everything to not let you out of their office until you leave a sales review . Maybe because they know things could go south afterwards ? I found that rude and unprofessional. Lastly , my car was serviced by them prior the sale to only find that oil sump washer was crashed by over tightened sump plug bolt which was also loose causing an oil leak . This was not picked up on immediately, however, when it was , the car had lost close to 3 litres of oil already in 6 weeks since buying . Asper their advice, i reached out to the warranty they supply and it does not cover things like this so was left with a hope of their understanding of their mistake to refund me for new oil, filter and sump plug + labour of course. The cost was only £131. I did supply them with invoice, photos of leak etc . It has been around 40 days since me first reporting it and i am still getting ignored. I live 500miles from branch. So that does complicate things a little ,but not too much if you are willing to resolve things. They called me once which i missed and sent me a text to call back ,but i requested to deal via email only and its back to silent treatment to this moment. This was Birmingham branch. While their cars may be ok, their aftercare and servicing skills need brushed up big time. If i was closer , i could physically walk into branch every day until it was resolved ,however, being a distance buyer, has its disadvantages. Based on the above, i would not recommend using them ,purely if the issue turns out to be something bigger. To me this is greed over customers rights and common courtesy to keep your busines well respected even when things dont go as planned, all for a sake of £100 basically.
