After purchasing a converted VW Transporter from Alan Kerr Ltd. 6 months ago, I have been back with multiple issues no less than 9 times in just 6 months. With the first big issue occurring just two days after picking up the vehicle. Right from the start I went through 3 different salesmen just to get the purchase through due to complete incompetence and a severe lack of customer care. I recieved the van with a new MOT, a supposed service and a 12 month warranty, also a safety checklist that had all been ticked off as safe, only to discover shortly after that it was all lies. The "leisure battery" that was in the van not only had no battery cover and the terminals had been taped up with duct tape, the battery of course failed completely and was replaced under warranty however the technician stated that battery should have never been in there in the first place and that it obviously hadn't been checked. The entire electrical system was also faulty and had to be stripped and re-wired which again makes it very clear that there were absolutely no checks carried out before the sale of the vehicle. During this entire fiasco I had to constantly chase things up with the dealership after constantly being promised a call back, it never once happened, nearly every single time I had to go to the dealership in person just to be able to speak to anyone. I'm still stuck with the vehicle (still riddled with issues) as they are now refusing my rejection of the van and are now forcing me to take it down a legal route. I would not recommend this criminal firm to my worst enemy.
