Do not buy a car from these con artists

(If zero stars were possible, they’d have earned that instead.) Avoid this company at all costs. I would strongly urge anyone not to buy a vehicle from these people. We purchased an electric car from Yorkward in March 2025, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare ever since. The vehicle has suffered fault after fault from day one — repeatedly failing to start, showing electrical system warnings, and needing recovery. Every time an issue is raised, they dodge responsibility and hide behind a so-called “warranty” that’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. Despite months of emails, calls, and written reports, they continue to stall, deflect, and do everything possible to avoid issuing a refund or a proper repair. Their after-sales service is nonexistent and their communication is appalling. To put this into perspective: • Purchased 18/03/25 (£9,994) • Delivered 24/03/25 • First fault reported 03/05/25 • Recovered due to complete failure 11/07/25 • Battery replaced 14/07/25 • Faults returned 29/08/25, 07/10/25, and still unresolved as of 13/10/25. This isn’t a one-off issue — it’s a pattern of complete disregard for customers. If you value your money, your sanity, and your ability to drive a functioning car, do not buy from Yorkward.
