Don't trust what you are told
I bought a car a week ago, I was concerned about the tread on the rear tyres that looked low. The salesman said he would measure them and told me that they were 4.5mm. When I collected the car I asked to see the MOT but wasnt sown it. I later found it on the internet and it had advisories about the rear tyres. The salesman was having none of it so I booked it into Audi Main dealer where I live. The tyres were 3mm, the report also identified that the brakes were at 70% worn and the discs had lipping. Both othe the tyre issues and the brakes should have been identified on the PDI nad replaced. I have had no joy with Audi Guilford and have had to raise the matter with Lookers. I now wait for someone to get back to me so that I can arragnge them taking the car back for a refund under my Consumer rights. My advice to anyone buying, dont trust the salesman, ask to see the PDI, Ask to see the MOT and take someone who knows about cars with you when you go to view it.
