Do not touch with a barge pole. Awful.

Looked to purchase an Evo and after speaking to the salesman, we agreed a price and a deposit was paid. Unfortunately, when we liaised with some contacts, it appears that the Evo 5 rear spoiler had been replaced with an Evo 6 version. Nothing was mentioned when we spoke. We had to withdraw from the sale for compassionate reasons and when we rang to explain and ask about getting our deposit back, the man (E***) was abusive, totally unsympathetic, uncaring and quoted the law at us stating that “All deposits are non refundable by law”. Unfortunately, his citation of the law is incorrect. When challenged, he corrected himself that car deposits are non-refundable and he did not take too kindly to being questioned. The law does allow for the return of a car deposit in some cases dependent upon the terms and conditions of the sale. We were never offered or given these terms! All I can say is steer clear. A reprehensible salesman with very poor customer service and ways of working.
