Unsafe vehicle fault ignored

Unsafe vehicle fault ignored and no response from VW Solihull management. I bought a Volkswagen from Johnsons Volkswagen Solihull that developed a serious automatic tailgate fault only a few months after purchase. The car has been back for repair three times, yet the fault remains unresolved. The issue has been witnessed on two separate occasions by Volkswagen staff, and I have also sustained an injury caused by the tailgate unexpectedly closing. Despite this, the dealership has not resolved the problem. I formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act several months ago. Volkswagen UK’s Executive Office has since stepped in, but the senior management at Johnsons Volkswagen Solihull continue to ignore both their requests and mine, leaving the case unresolved. The car remains unsafe and unfit for normal use. Extremely disappointing experience and not what you’d expect from a main Volkswagen dealership.
