don't waste your hard earned cash
I purchased a 2020 range rover evoque in September 2025, Within 3 weeks it came up with a warning on the dash board. I was then advised to book in for a diagnosis check up, which was booked in for the 30/10 as this was the only date I could make due to work commitments. Unfortunately on my way home from work that evening a lost all power when driving on a dual carriageway. Called the RAC and they sent out Victoria recovery to get the car home as this was approx 6.45pm. The car was eventually dropped off just before midnight it took 2 hours for the guy to get it off the back of the lorry. called carbase in the morning to explain what had happened to be told I needed to get the car recovered myself as they don't recover. After saying I had only had the car 3 weeks and its under warranty, The person on the phone said she would text a company and they would be in touch. Car was recovered that day 21/10/25. As I couldn't get in touch with anyone over the phone I emailed for an update on the 22/10,23/10 and 24/10 finally got an answer the car needs a new alternator. This was fitted on the 27/10 and I was advised on the 28/10 that I was then able to collect the car. Collected the car on 29/10 when driving home the same warning lights came back on, Called the auto center again they asked for me to drive back down to them, however as it had just taken me 1 1/2 hours to get there and by the time I was able to get through to them I was 5 mins from home so I said I would return it the next day. Driving down there the day after lost all power again had to be recovered again this time time a 7 hour wait. Called them again 30/10 to get the car recovered for a second time. I emailed on 31/10 to get an update to for them to tell me its not holding charge. After several more emails and the complaint all have been ignored. I was finally told they have booked it in the a main dealer to find the issue this is booked in for the 13/11. I have asked time and time again for a courtesy car which they just tell you they don't have any. I will be seeking further help through the motoring ombudsman as this has been terrible service they are happy to take your money however as soon as you have an issue they do not want to know. I can see the replies to the other complaints on this page they are advised to send a compliant which I have done twice and not even had an acknowledgement of my complaint.
