Worthless FULL Waranty

A common problem with Peugeot E208 (70 plate) is that the seals around the rear lights are inherently defective & fail on a regular basis. This leads to water ingression & causes the lights to fail. The warranty company that Budgen use are called CRYSTAL CLEAR & they explained that ANY WATER INGRESSION in general is NOT COVERED on their FULL warranty. £134 for a diagnostic check was required to tell my daughter that her brake lights weren’t working ( Which is what she booked it in to Budgen for!)… £680 quoted on top of that to replace both faulty rear light units (as both units have failed with the same problem!). £680 was doing the job at a reduced price as an act of good will ??.. she’s had the car just over 10 months. The moral of the story is read the warranty carefully & check what is & isn't covered…& avoid Peugeot 208’s over three years old!!!
