Disappointing experience, poor aftercare
I purchased a used Hyundai Tucson from Hyundai North London (Endeavour Automotive) for just over £20,000. From the moment I collected the car, it had a fuel lid fault that made it very difficult to refuel. I reported it right away, yet the dealership refused to cover the repair under warranty and provided no written explanation. I was made to return over six times in six months, travelling 1.5 hours each way from HA9 — all with no resolution. Communication was poor, incorrect parts were ordered, and I was repeatedly booked in without progress. It was only after escalating the issue to Hyundai UK that the dealership took proper action and finally fixed the fault. To make matters worse, the AC vent issue has still not been resolved, and when I raised concerns about the vehicle being sold with faults, the service manager told me “every car has problems.” Completely unprofessional and dismissive. This experience caused stress, wasted time, and disrupted my travel plans. After spending this much money with an authorised Hyundai dealer, I expected far better treatment. I would strongly recommend others think twice before buying from this dealership.
