Outstanding - Lexus, Trentham, Stoke

Posted 30th December 2025 Lexus NX 2.5 450h+18.1kWh Premium Plus E-CVT 4WD Euro 6 (s/s) 5dr 2487 cc Plug in hybrid 40 miles EV At 69 yrs not having owned, driven, or even been a passenger in a Lexus, it felt daunting as I entered the Lexus dealership at Trentham, Stoke in August 2025. I was encouraged by a ‘welcome’ greeting from the smiling receptionist who was attending to another customer. It was impressive that she took a moment and guided me to the Lexus model that particularly interested me.  Just as I had finished looking at the interior, a sales manager came over from the office to meet me. Joe took a great deal of time to establish why I had decided to visit Lexus; he asked me about my priorities for a car together with my general requirements and preferences. He explained the history of Lexus and how they were pioneers of the hybrid technology engine system.  Lexus were the pioneers who designed their cars around the hybrid system, unlike their major competitors who have adapted their vehicles to accommodate this innovative technology. Having had a lengthy conversation with Joe, who answered all my tedious questions, I arranged a test drive. The drive, two weeks later, ran smoothly and I was impressed both with the technology and the ease of adapting to the distinctive style of hybrid driving. This test drive alone, was enough to persuade me as to the purchase of this model which suits my needs. Joe was keen to ensure that he answered all queries and satisfied any concerns. I have delayed sending this review to assess my Lexus over a period. The car has been a pleasure to drive. It is evident that considerable planning has been put into extensive design features and comfort. It has proved a perfect choice for me as most journeys I make are short, although I do travel considerable distances about six times a year with family. I have learned that the success of this Lexus is, is not just about buying a car, it is also about buying into the Japanese culture of refined quality, care, and longevity.
